I'm sure some of you will know Irn Bru the Scottish soft drink (though possibly not the U.S. as it's not officially sold there) and a company called WKD do an alcoholic version called WKD Iron Brew which is 4%.
Well before I finished work yesterday morning I noticed a new one WKD 1 which is a 15% shot drink.
I must say, I love it.
So what's everyone drinking?
EDIT: Is it bad that I'm knocking this back like it's a Irn Bru soft drink?
I fancy a 'snake bite' (half cider/half lager) or even vodka 'snake bite' (third cider/third lager/third vodka) takes me back to my early drinking days.

Irn Bru caused me to grow mutton chops in eleventh grade.
And ginger ale for me. Because I'm a creative bastard.

Holy shitballs, how the fuck hadn't I heard about boozy Iron/Irn Bru before now? Assuming it tastes pretty much exactly like the regular kind, I think I just found a new go-to drink.

Bayou Rum from Louisiana's own Jeff Davis parish. Smoothest cane-based rum you'll ever drink.

I've never liked ginger ale (My uncle used to sell Canadian Dry in his pub). I tried Crabbies ginger beer recently and, nope, not for me.

Tastes just like regular WKD Iron Brew but with no fizz and more of a vodka kick.
£10 for 70cl in asda or the alco-pop aisle. There is Blue also.

I live in Utah, so naturally I'm pretending this water is a Deschutes Hop Trip harvest ale. And now I'm sad cause the illusion is gone.

Is it any good? Never heard of it. I may have a look around and see what U.S. beers are available.

Mormonism must be spreading beyond our control...
Get ready for state liquor stores that only sell beer warm and pricey! And an alcohol content regulation so low that the gas stations can't even sell real Bud (if you didn't like it before, it's now actually water).
EVERYBODY START STOCKIN UP!!!

I like it. Nothing fancy about the taste, just "normal" American beer I guess. I think its a beer you could drink all day and not feel like you are about to explode. My taste are pretty simple and I just have yet to like any crazy craft of darker beers. I don't know if I could tell the difference between this and a can of normal Budweiser(good or bad thing I don't know). Another plus is that its pretty well priced.

Lol. My sister became Mormon nearly 20 years ago and enjoys her coffee, and Tia Maria, Malibu and rum and coke on a night out.
I guess she fell off the wagon. Oops.

That's the trick, finding a nice beer you can drink without getting bloated or gassy that's not going to hit your pocket either.

Lol. My mother and I are Church of England (christened anyway, I consider myself atheist) and my sister and step-father are Mormon. It was always awkward drinking a coffee when the Missionaries came to visit.

I chased some missionaries from work with our forklift once haha. They kept bugging us, so I did what god wanted; forklift skids followed by lots of yelling and them running

That it is, that it is. That shit was horrible. Tbh I don't like shots much anymore after I had an, um, bad experience with some moonshine type stuff that ended up with me waking up with my face on a toilet seat

They were good people and a good laugh. We had a Star Trek marathon once, for four days we ate and slept in the living room watching every episode only pausing the video to take pi55 breaks. The only Missionary I nearly hit was one from Northern Ireland who kept questioning (raising his tone each time) why I didn't believe in God. I told him after five minutes to 'leave it alone, I don't believe so move on'. He never came again.

It is quite amazing. Also, have you ever enjoyed a Dark n' Stormy?

From Anheuser Busch, one of the biggest breweries in the world. Their more familiar brands include Beck's and Stella.

I Googled 'Busch' earlier and got Anheuser Busch. Some nice products in there, some not so much and some I've never heard of.

Good man. You can't beat a good Irish whiskey. Jameson is good but I prefer Bushmills over it.

My local liquor store just had a ma-hooo-ssive sale on Bushmills... I bought more than was reasonable. I'm afraid my body would reject it at this point.

You've lost me, 'more than was reasonable', when good whiskey is concerned no amount is considered 'more than was reasonable' especially when it's Irish whiskey.
